Comitiva de Lula para velório do papa terá presidentes do STF e do Senado

Os presidentes do Senado, Davi Alcolumbre; da Câmara dos Deputados, Hugo Motta; e do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Luís Roberto Barroso, deverão acompanhar o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva à Itália para participar do velório do papa Francisco. O Palácio do Planalto disse que os três foram convidados e indicaram que iriam aceitar.
A viagem está programada para quinta-feira (24). A assessoria da Presidência não informou se outras autoridades foram convidadas. A primeira-dama Janja Lula da Silva também irá ao funeral.
O caixão com o corpo do papa Francisco será trasladado da capela da Casa de Santa Marta para a Basílica de São Pedro nesta quarta-feira (23).
O funeral de Francisco foi agendado para o próximo sábado (26), a partir das 10h (horário local), na própria Basílica de São Pedro. De lá, o caixão será levado para a Basílica de Santa Maria Maior, onde será sepultado, conforme pedido do pontífice.
